PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engineer Shaukatullah has termed Eid-ul- Azha as the second most sagacious, sacred Muslim festival carrying a perfect message, guide for the faithful leading responsible, successful life.
In his Eid-day statement he further deliberated that this solemn occasion of Islamic history in fact, marked the sacrificial spirit as presented by prophets, Hazrat Ibrahim (and His son, Ismail, as the will of the Almighty Allah.
He deliberated that the core spirit of the Eid festivities, stressed the need to be patience, social and adhere to civic responsibilities, prepared for any sacrifice which any responsible Muslim members of the society and world community are required to render for betterment of humanity.
Keeping in view the prevailing circumstances, he also stressed the need to work selflessly for promotion of education, awareness and maintenance of Country peace, stability.
He made special appeal to the people to be tolerant in their neighborhood, being helpful for further consolidation of normalcy and stability; proving to be responsible member of the Pakistani nation and work for its betterment with the spirit of sacrifice and sincerity.
