Hangu: Bomb blast kills 17, leaves 22 injured

A suicide bomb attack in the tribal Spin Tall region of Hangu claimed the lives of 17 people and left twenty two others injured. According to local sources, the compound of an ex-TTP (Tehreek-e-Taiban Pakistan) military commander, Mullah Nabi Hanafi, was targeted by militants who opened fire at the building before running a vehicle of explosives through it. The building collapsed due the explosion. The explosion was so intense that the residents of the area claimed to have felt jolts similar to those of an earthquake. Mullah Hanafi was associated with the Tehrik-Taliban.
