A joint meeting of the parliamentary party, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Local Bodies Committees JUI-F will be held here on Wednesday to review the Local Government Bill 2013 and evolved future line of action in light of the proposals of both bodies of the party. In this connection, a meeting of the Local Government Committee of JUI-F was held here with its chairman, Abdul Jalil Jan in the chair.
Those who attended were included Mohammad Azam Khan Durrani, Naima Kishwar Khan MNA, Qazi Ayazuddin, Asif Iqbal, Obaidullah Anwar advocate, Mehmood Khan MPA and Malik Riaz MPA. The meeting reviewed the draft Local Government Bill and termed a hasty policy of the government and called for its implementation after taking opposition parties into confidence.
The meeting decided that for proposing amendments in the Local Government Bill, a joint meeting of the Parliamentary Party and Local Government Committee would be held on October 9 (Wednesday at 10:00 am in Provincial Secretariat of the party.
