Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister's advisor rejects Karak university site

Advisor to Chief Minister, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa for Prisons, Malik Mohammad Qasim Khattak rejected the decision of the construction of Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak on the present site out rightly and advised the Chairman, District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) for avoid taking hasty decisions in his absence on national collective nature issues and cancelled the present site of the varsity. 

Malik Qasim Khattak, who is in Saudi Arabia in connections with performing Hajj explained through a statement from abroad, said the decision to establish University in Karak was taken for provision of higher education to the thousands of students of both provincial assembly constituencies PK-40 and PK-41 at their doorstep. Therefore, he said, decision regarding the selection of the site for the university concerned should be made in the special committee constituted by the provincial government in the larger interest of the people of district Karak. 

He said one-sided and individually taken decisions on national issues may be the cause of creating hatred in the nation. Therefore, political leaders should completely avoid such decisions. The Advisor to the Chief Minister said he stands on resolution of the issues of national importance above the politics and mutual consultations and will always stand on it.
