PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is preparing to carry out a targeted operation against terrorists in Peshawar, Sheraz Paracha, spokesman for KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, said October 3.
Although he did not specify a start date, Paracha said it would be carried out soon.
The quick response force will conduct the upcoming operation, Paracha said.
The provincial government has promised to let police target terrorists without political interference, he added.
