PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government under the threats of terrorism has cancelled the vacations of police personnel in sensitive districts during Eid-ul-Azha celebrations.
Under eyeing the situation of law and order, vacation of police personnel of the sensitive districts of Nowshehra, Abbttabad, Mardan, Bannu, Kohat, Lakki Mrwat and D.I Khan have been cancelled.
Details said, tightened security measures are also being taken in the markets and areas, which have been declared most sensitive. In the markets of Peshawar city, cantonment and town heavy force of planed cloth police personnel have been deployed.
Police personnel will be deployed outside most sensitive Mosques, Imam Bargahs and Madrassas, while notification in regard of leave cancellation will be issued on Monday.
Following the situation of Law and Order police force will be also given extra authorities on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
