Minister for welcomes declaration of APC of Jamiat-e-Islami

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Shah Farman has welcomed the declaration of All Parties Conference (APC) of Jumiat-e-Islami and has said that the aim and goal of all political parties was one and the same. He said that pulling the province and its people out from the quagmire of unrest and other difficulties was our prime objective and we would emerge successful because of our sincerity. In a statement issued here on Sunday, he made it clear that representatives of PTI could not attend the conference because of prolonged session of the provincial cabinet wherein the local government act and Ehtisab Commission Act were approved as he said both these legislations were essential to lead the province to a clear direction. Both these laws he, maintained, would empower the people of the province to make their own decision as well as they would be provided resources for their development and prosperity at local levels. Similarly, Ehtisab Commission would make every individual accountable irrespective of their status. He said, even the JI Senior Minister Siraj ul Haq and two provincial ministers could not attend the conference. However, he made it clear that PTI would nominate two representatives for the Joint Action Committee of the conference. He said that the stand of all the parties of our coalition government is one and the same and we want to lay foundation of durable peace in the region and solve all the problems of the masses through a systematic approach. However, he maintained that the authority and decision making in this regard rested with center and we are confident that federal government would take some concrete and courageous steps in this regard while we would wholeheartedly support the center and would never betray our people about our obligations on this issue. He said that we on provincial level will not only take along the coalition parties but all the political forces so that our suffering people could be dragged out from the marshes of chronic issues including the terrorism and hence lay foundation of the bright future of the nation.
