PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) October 8 defused six explosive devices around Peshawar, The News reported.
BDS personnel defused one bomb in Sulemankhel and neutralised two others in the Swati Phatak area.
The BDS remained busy, disarming an improvised explosive device (IED) and two hand grenades in the Kacha Garhai area.
The police is alert and will thwart any terrorist plot, Nasir Khan Durrani, the inspector general of police for KP, said.
