PESHAWAR: The officials from the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa disconnected around 100 illegal connections during a drive on the Warsak Road on Tuesday.
A team of the SNGPL along with a police party headed by Station House Officer of Mathra Police Station carried out a disconnection operation on the Warsak Road, cutting off 15 connections in Mustajab Garhi, 14 in Kochian and five in Hajizai.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa SNGPL General Manager Engineer Saqib Arbab told The News over 4000 illegal connections have been removed during the last three months all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The official said the drive would continue in the winter to ensure a smooth supply of gas to the consumers.
