Earthquake jolts, Islamabad, KP

Peshawar: An earthquake measuring 5.7 on Richter scale struck different parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday morning.The epicenter of the quake was Koh-e Hindu Kush in Afghanistan.
Tremor were felt in Peshawar, Swabi, Chitral, Swat, Dir, Malakand, Bannu and other areas of KPK province and its adjoined tribal region. Federal capital Islamabad also jolted with Sunday quake.
The quake spread panic among people and they rushed out of their homes, however no loss of life or property was reported.
Last month in Balochistan, two major earthquake claimed more than 300 lives in Awaran district alone.
