Friday, October 04, 2013 - Islamabad: Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that number of steps have been taken to stop electricity and gas pilferage as thousand of cases registered against theves across the country. Talking to a private TV channel, he said Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had supported the campaign of federal government against electricity and gas theft in their respective areas.
Replying to a question, the Minister said electricity distribution and transmission system need to be improved to save power.
