Imran had better concentrate on KP affairs: minister

ISLAMABAD: As the statement attributed to the prime minister about drone attacks has already been denied, Information and Broadcasting Minister Pervaiz Rashid asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to concentrate on handling affairs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa instead of giving ideas to the federal government.

Reacting to PTI chairman’s seven-point economic recovery agenda, the minister claimed the federal government had set my examples by adopting a number of measures, as it did not believe in issuing rhetoric.

He pointed out that elimination of discretionary funds and curtailing the expenditure of Prime Minister House by 50 percent and reducing official expenditures by 30 percent were among the measures the government had taken.

The minister continued that a brief delegation going along with prime minister during his recent US visit was also a conscious effort to reduce official expenditure.
