A grand meeting of all Provincial Management Services Officers (PMS) of the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held at a local hotel here wherein a welfare body by the name of PMS Officers Association was formed. The meeting was attended by the senior officers of Provincial Government from the Executive and Secretariat Group. Officers' get-together was of profound importance since it was held in wake of the merger of PCS Secretariat Group 2002, 2005 and 2006 batches in the PMS.
Senior officers of the PCS welcomed this positive development and threw light on the historical development of the provincial civil services. The challenges ahead were deliberated by the President of Pakistan Provincial Civil servants Khalid Khan Umerzai.
He advised the officers to unite for the glorious future that awaits the PMS Officers. Shafeerullah Wazir appraised the gathering about the evolution of the PMS out of PCS secretariat and executive cadres.
