BATTAGRAM: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health Shaukat Yousafzai suspended district health officer (DHO) over his poor performance here on Thursday.
The minister paid surprise visits to various health facilities in the district and expressed his concern over the miserable conditions there.Taking serious note of the deplorable condition of the District Headquarters Hospital Battagram, the minister ordered suspension of the DHO Dr Shehzad Ali Khan.
Later, talking to reporters, he said the provincial government had provided Rs400 million to each DHQ Hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and added that such amount would be utilised following the implementation of the health policy.
