Thursday: Abbottabad--An election tribunal on Wednesday declared Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mian Zia-ur-Rehman ineligible for holding afake degree allegedly issued by a Madrassa (seminary) of Ghotki, Sindh.
The tribunal had summoned the head of Ghotki Madrassa, who declared the degree of MPA as fake. Declaring Zia-ur-Rehman, who was elected as MPA from PK-54 Mansehra in 2013 generalelection, ineligible, the tribunal ordered fresh polling in the constituency.
