Ministers, MPAs and advisers: KP government prepares new security plan

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has prepared a new special security plan for the provincial ministers, MPAs and advisers. The KP government has lost two provincial ministers and six other members of the legislative assembly during the last two months in different acts of terrorism in the province. The new security plan has been prepared after the assassination of another member of the provincial cabinet, Israrullah Gandapur.

Under the new security strategy, it has been made mandatory for all provincial ministers, members of the assembly and advisers, to inform the police prior to visiting any locality.

Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan said that under the security plan, the ministers, MPAs and advisers would be required to inform the concerned DPOs and SHOs before paying a visit to any district or area in the province. He further said that the concerned police incharge would be held responsible for any accident in their respective limits.

The IGP also urged the provincial ministers, MPAs, and advisers to avoid paying unnecessary visits to any part of the province.
