The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Shah Farman has said that dialogues with Taliban are in progress and has wished the success of peace talks. He said if the talks were successful that would be a defeat to those political elements who are opposing peace talks.
He expressed these views while talking to different delegations at his office Peshawar on Monday. Minister Information said that some political parties were fearing that the success of dialogues would present their real picture to the people and their future would be darkened. He said these political forces had kept the whole country particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in a state of war for the last 10 years and, on other hand, were enjoying the benefits of government for their personal interest.
Provincial Information Minister said that denial of Taliban from Peshawar bomb blasts were a clear proof that anti state elements were busy in sabotaging the peace process. He said that time had proved that the bomb blasts at public places were meant to create harassment among the people and destroying the peaceful environment. The Minister said that after denial of Taliban from the bomb blasts the government was investigating the real culprits behind these bomb blasts and their nefarious designs. He said the government was also in the process of investigating the parties assisting such anti state elements.
Shah Farman further said that corrupt elements were making hue and cry whenever the government took action against them. Ehtesab Commission would soon be established and stern action would be taken against these elements on merit, Shah Farman concluded.
