Khyber Pakhtunkhwa RAHA-UNDP: programme: 95 children enrolled in UC Jogani schools

KP Refugees Affected and Hosting Areas (RAHA-UNDP) Programme, in collaboration with provincial Education department, enrolled 95 children in government-run primary level schools in Union Council Jogani, Peshawar. The RAHA-UNDP Programme, funded by European Union, launched a special enrolment campaign in union councils of targeted districts, under which 95 children, including 60 boys and 35 girls, enrolled in various government primary schools in Jogani 

In this connection, a ceremony was jointly organised by KP RAHA-UNDP and provincial Education department at government girls' primary school in UC Jogani on Friday. PTI MNA Sajid Nawaz attended the ceremony as chief guest, while Additional Secretary Education Qaiser Alam presided over the function. 

RAHA provincial programme manager, Shukriya Syed, PTI leader Jehanzeb Khan, community leaders, school teaching staff, students, parents, and notable of the area also attended the ceremony. Sajid Nawaz while speaking on the occasion reaffirmed the commitment of PTI-led coalition government in KP for promotion of quality education in the province. He said the provincial government has been initiated a special enrolment drive in government schools to enroll more than 27 million children, which are out of schools due to certain reasons.
