JI condemns terrorism in KPK.

LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaquat Baloch, has condemned the terrorist activity causing the tragic death of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Law Minister Israrullah Gandapur, and said that enemies of Pakistan and peace were involved in the target killings and bloodshed.

In a statement here on Saturday, he said the real objective of the enemy was to sabotage the peace talks with the Taliban. He said continuous terrorist activities in Khyber P were part of the Great Plan and to push to the wall the forces in favour of dialogue.

He said that talks were possible if the political and the military leadership of the country was determined to implement the decision of the APC and the parliament. He said the enemy would naturally want this country to remain the arena of terrorism and subversion so that it collapsed and surrendered to the evil designs of the colonial powers. Therefore, he said, the whole nation should unite against the forces hostile to the country and the nation.

Liaquat Baloch said that the US was pulling out of Afghanistan and India was facing a dark future after the US failure in the region. This was the time the Pakistan army, intelligentsia, political forces and the masses stood united for the safeguarding their independence, sovereignty, honour and solidarity. He said, India’s continuing and unprovoked firing at the Line of Control was practically a declaration of war and the martyrdom of the rangers and innocent citizens exposed the bloody face of the Indian government.

Meanwhile, Liaquat Baloch has greeted the national Cricket team on its victory against South Africa in the first cricket test match. He commended the good performance of the team.
