KP Minister censures statements of ANP, PPP leaders

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations, Shah Farman has expressed his sorrow and concern over the statements of ANP leader Senator Zahid Khan and Sindh Home Minister Sherjeel Memon against the PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

In a statement, he regretted that issuing statements against a stalwart leader Imran Khan did not deem fit to the workers of those parties whose leaders viz Asfandyar Wali Khan and Asif Zardari always did drawing room politics. These leaders, he added, did not have direct contacts with the masses but always made hue and cry of having a direct threat from the terrorists.

The minister said that it was a fact that Zardari always kept aloof of his own workers while Asfandyar Wali just feared of a single blast at his Hujra and did not come back to his home town Charsadda during his five years tenure of government.

Both these top leaders of their parties did not attend gatherings of even their workers nor participated in any janaza etc; while their steps and policies resulted into deteriorating a lot of the people and their miseries manipulated in their reigns.

Shah Farman maintained that Imran Khan despite his injury and illness, always kept direct links with his workers and general masses. Imran visited Peshawar, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and other parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa so many times to console his workers and people.

He said that the enthusiasm of the people during the peace cricket match at Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar and warm welcome by youths to Imran Khan showed clearly that Imran was still popular leader and they fully believe in their dynamic leadership to bring peace and prosperity to this terror stricken region. He said that the workers issuing such controversial statements had the big problem of diverting the attention of the people from the misdeeds of their leaders who looted public exchequer with both hands transferred their black-money to other countries and always persuaded anti-people and anti-state polices on the behest of their foreign masters.
