In Sindh 153 kilomiter roads were constructed costing Rs. 14813 millions,in Balochistan 372 km roads were built which cost the NHA Rs 11746 m,in the Punjab 406 km,roads were built at the cost of Rs.40848 m,in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 398 km roads cost Rs. 17212 mn,while in Gilgit-Baltistan 142 km roads were for Rs 50000 mn.
In the Punjab a total of Rs. 47,794 m were spent on road projects out of which Rs. 14,969 m were spent in 2009-10,Rs. 10,717 were spent in 2010-11 and Rs. 22,108m in 2011-12.
A total of Rs 25,307 million were spent on road projects in Sindh province out of which Rs 8,733 m were spent in 2009-10,Rs. 7,090m in 2010-11,Rs. 9,484 m in 2011-12.
Rs 22,303 million were spent during past three financial year in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa out of which Rs. 9,747 m in 2009-10,Rs. 5,006 m in 2010-11,Rs. 7,556 m were spent in 2011-12.
Rs. 22,309 m were spent in Bolochistan during past three fiscal years on road projects out of which Rs. 9,747 m were spent in 2009- 10,Rs 5,006 m in 2010-11 and Rs 7,556 m in 2011-12 .
A total of Rs. 11,013 were spent on road projects in Gilgit- Baltistan during past three fiscal years out of which Rs 495 million were spent in 2010-11 and Rs. 10,518 million were spent in 2011-12.
Major road projects completed in Sindh during 2009-12 included Bridge over River Indus at Larkana with approach roads,Larkana- Naudero-Lakhi road,Reconstruction of Shershah Bridge, Sakrand- Benazirabad road,and Ratodero-Naudero road.
In Balochistan major projects completed during past three fiscal years included Pleri-Gabd road,Kalat-Khad Koocha section of N-25, Quetta-Jungle Pir section of N-25,Muslim Bagh-Qila Saifullah section of N-50 and Hub-Uthal section of N-25 and Khanozai-Muslim Bagh section of N-50.
In the Punjab major projects complete din past three fiscal years included Baba Farid Bridge,Bahawalpur Chowk-Jinnah Chowk to Vehari section of N-5,Satra Mile-Lower Topa section of N-75,Moosa Pak Shaheed Bridge in Multan, Mianchannu-Sahiwal-Okara section of N- 5, Jalalpur Pirwala- Uch Road,Kharian-Rawalpindi section of N- 5,Turnol - Chablat section of N-5. Multan-Muzaffargarh section of N- 70.
In Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa roads completed in past three years included Batagram-Thakot section of N-35,Basian-Balakot-Naran section of N-15,Timargarah-Akhagram section of N-45 and Thakot Bridge.In Gilgit-Baltistan Raikot-Khunjerab road was completed in past three years time.
