SPs ordered to set up offices at police stations

PESHAWAR: The inspector general of police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed all the circle superintendents of police (SPs) of the provincial capital to move out of the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines and set up offices in their areas of jurisdiction. The general public is facing numerous problems due to the strict arrangements at the Police Lines where these officers are almost inaccessible to the public. The IGP ordered SP City, SP Cantt and SP Rural to shift their offices from the Police Lines so that the people could have access to them. SP City is supposed to be present at Gulbahar Police Station, SP Cantt at East Cantt Police Station and SP Rural at an office adjacent to Chamkani Police Station. The offices will be shifted within three days.
