Nisar vows to provide special security to foreign investors


ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Friday said special security measures would be taken for investors in Pakistan and a task force was already working in the ministry for this purpose. These views were expressed by the federal minister during his meeting with a prominent businessman and entrepreneur of Lebanon Fouad Makhzomi who called on him to discuss the issues of mutual interest, said a press release. Makhzomi informed the minister about the business of his companies and shared his interest regarding investment in Pakistan. Chaudhry Nisar said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif believed in developing economic/business profile of the country and encouraged potential investors. The federal minister said Pakistan enjoys brotherly relations with Lebanon and would welcome the investment from its businessmen, adding Pakistan had a business friendly environment and the government offers facilitation for investors along with security. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan to Lebanon and Ambassador of Lebanon to Pakistan.
